To the priest at Knoxville Cathedral U.S.A, thank you for your strong voice at the mass.

Apparently your first words are very audible but the rest of your words are swallowed and we cannot hear what you pray. It is important that we follow every word said at the mass. Could you please be consistent with your strong voice throughout and not go silent after you have said the first few.

God bless you the sacrifice you make for all of us. !

How does one get our own church mass added to this list? This is such a great resource and u would love to attend our vibrant priest to this list. Do you only add bilingual and English mass? Or could you add Spanish only mass? Thank you and God bless !

  4. John George says:

Dear Fathers across the catholic church,

I wish to ask if you would consider a modified version of the prayer for spiritual communion.

For your convenience I write the modified version which I think helps us to pray with faith and not in doubt. I opened inverted commas where the words of the prayer have been modified and made more relevant:

Lord Jesus, I believe you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come “Lord” spiritually into my heart. I embrace You “believing’ You are already “here” and “I” unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

I am so grateful for this site, which I found through the Laudate app. You have enabled me to continue my commitment to safely attend Sunday Mass as well as the first Friday Mass in honor of the Sacred Heart during the pandemic, and no matter where I am. Access to livestream Mass around the world enables us to experience different cultures which is an extra blessing.

Even after the pandemic ends, your site will be a valuable support for my continued spiritual growth.

Thank you so much for the work you have invested to create and maintain this wonderful resource.

  6. Roshni says:

  8. Casey says:

So glad you are open to learning more about the Catholic Church!

I highly recommend you read the Baltimore Cathechism as a start. It used to be the standard catechesis, starting at an elementary school level. It’s usually sold in a series of four books.

If you have a local church staffed by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP), the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest (ICKSP), or has the Latin Mass (aka “TLM” or “Traditional Latin Mass”), I’d strongly advise talking to a priest from one of those churches. You are much more likely to receive authentic Catholic teaching from them rather than from others.

Also, look up the Divine Mercy channel, the channel based at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and run by the Marian Fathers (marian.org). Fr. Chris Alar has been doing a “Teaching the Faith” series every Saturday since at least April. They leave the talks on their YouTube channel. Fr. Alar is an excellent teacher of authentic Catholic doctrine.

God bless you on your journey!

Listening from Ireland (Limerick) and the immediate reply when I put in Daily Catholic Mass was great. Our parish here is just now getting in on the streaming of masses but it would be off hours for you folks in the USA.

  10. Malcolm Harris says:

Why is it so difficult to find the appropriate site for booking an intended attendance at mass on Sundays? The cathedral site (for booking) is hard to bring up.. Made even more difficult when you have three separate persons to book in. Can only do them one at a time???

  11. Vincent McCann says:

  13. Matthieu G says:

What an amazing website! Thank you so much for all the work and effort put into it. It is a real blessing!

  14. John George says:

The efforts both Clergy and lay by sacrificing time and convenience is remarkable and we thank and bless God. To hear from some priests at the end of mass that some masses have to be cancelled as approximately 40 per cent of those who register do not show up is sad so we pray that everyone who sincerely seeks the face of God and registers to attend the live masses will understand the seriousness of the omission and will turn back to God’s call.

Incidentally , at one mass today, one church announced immediately after the mass that Santa would be invited to give away presents to the children from the underprivileged communities. As I see it there are two elements of error in that when we pray “Hallowed by Thy Name” that salute is to God and to God only not to Santa or anyone else . My humble point here is that what is sacred cannot and should never be unified with the sacular . Therefore I pray and I hope others will join me both priests and religious not to spoil and taint the minds of innocent children by exalting Santa within Christmas celebrations. Let the parish priest or his assistant deliver the presents and gifts to the children so that their minds are not focused on Santa but on Jesus the Christ.

i am thankful to all who are involved in the online preparation so that we the faithful can attend during this threat of COVID. I think God tells us something through COVID and that is that no one but all of us have moved away from Him . Hence let us bear in mind to ask forgiveness for ourselves and for the whole world at each mass. Amen

dia s muire duit.the Mass is the thing that matters.we catholics are so priviliged ,we have Jesus truly present in the Tabernacle, also He comes at Holy MASS when we do this in memory of Him.It is our time to be present with Him as at Calvary as He offers Himself to the Father for our sins. Then at Holy COMMUNION we eat his BODY and drink His BLOOD.HE is really present with us and gives us His Peace,a Peace the world cannot give.

Wonderful,Wonderful, being able to attend Holy Mass every day. My wife has dementia and she loves joining me in pray. After Holy Mass and the Rosary we talk of the old days and the many churches we have been all over the world. When ever we used to go on holiday (vaction) the first opportunity we had was to find all the local churches.. God Bless all people of the faith.
